An instrument that holds its place in jazz and classical music, the saxophone is a very popular choice at Morningside School of Music. Due to the saxophone being a more physically demanding instrument of choice, we usually recommend that children should wait until they are about 10 or 11 years old. We have a very strong understanding of the requirements for standard grade, higher and sixth year study school music exams.
